On behalf of the Serbian Society of PAG and local organising committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us in wonderful Belgrade, from 18 to 21 May 2023 for the 20th World Congress of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. This meeting is organized under umbrella of our Federation International - FIGIJ which celebrate the 52nd Anniversary.
What a time to visit this lovely White city. The days are long, the sun is warm(ish) and the science is hot. The meeting will see a return to the hotel with a view to Kalemegdan fortress, the location of the last great world meeting in Belgrade 1978. It is a great place of our congress: spacious and light and just minutes from both the airport and the city centre.
For those of you new to Belgrade, you will find a beautiful city: open, green, small enough to walk around, sited on the two rivers and with a colourful and pretty city centre unblemished by skyscrapers. It doesn’t take long to understand why Belgrade is home to the ‘hospitality people’. Is it the many friendly bars? The way in which striking modern Danish designed buildings plays alongside the many waterways? Or could it be, the oldest park located near to Milošev konak? Or is the new Belgrade waterfront in the middle of the city? Whatever it is, aside from the famous sights and the smiles, you will enjoy a city with some of the best restaurants in the world, as well as many bistros, bars in which almost everyone speaks fluent English.
Altogether a worthy location for the equally wonderful FIGIJ meeting. With cutting edge science, inspirational speakers, and unrivalled networking opportunities, you really need to be a part of it.

A welcome message of encouragement from FIGIJ! Please join us and like-minded clinicians at this premier PAG event held every three years to celebrate the growing subspecialty of global Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
The organising committee have worked extremely hard to prepare an exciting and comprehensive programme which will enthral even the most experienced PAG clinicians and provide a platform for those who are just starting out to be trained in PAG.
Moreover the Congress will provide new learning experiences, enlightenment on topical subjects and opportunities to interact with the world’s most experienced practitioners in the subspecialty.
You will be able to participate in all the facets that make up Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology and will return with new knowledge and skills for your gynaecological practice. There is much to learn and disseminate!
Having visited and lectured in Belgrade on PAG before (and not in 1978 I hasten to add when the city last hosted this Congress) I can assure you of the warmest of welcomes and a fun-filled social programme. Fond memories will be guaranteed.
As I write this I do so with mixed feelings given that the World Congress will mark the end of my tenure as President of FIGIJ which commenced in Melbourne in December 2019. Since then the world has changed so much yet by Belgrade 2023 we look forward to the human interaction that has been so absent from early 2020 onwards.
Come to WCPAG 2023in Belgrade and make it a Congress to remember! The FIGIJ Board and I look forward to seeing you there. You won’t regret it!
