Prof. Agnieszka Drosdzol-Cop, MD, PhD

 Prof. Agnieszka Drosdzol-Cop, MD, PhD works in the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. Since 2016, she is the President of the Polish PAG. She is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, sexology and the IFEPAG.

She studied especially the prevalence of endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, menstrual cycle disturbances in adolescents, vulvo-vaginal disorders in girls.

One of her special interest areas, related to PAG, is the diagnostic-therapeutic management of AUB in adolescents. She also elaborated the author's therapeutic management algorithm of AUB in adolescents, based on hormonal estrogen-progestin therapy and participated in the research on the algorithm concerning hormonal supplementation in girls and adolescents with Turner syndrome.

Nina Jančar was born on August 15^th in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
She graduated at Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana in 2003.
She defended her Ph. D. thesis in October 2009. She finished her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in February 2012.
She is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana since March 2014.
She is the Head of IVF Unit at Department of Human Reproduction, Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Medical Centre Ljubljana since October 2017.
She has published more than 40 articles in Slovenian and international scientific Journals and professional Journals and also some book chapters from the field of human reproduction, cervical precancerous lesions and HPV infection.
From the year 2013 she is intensively involved and leading the program of fertility preservation in female patients with cancer and other disease that lead to diminished ovarian reserve or premature ovarian failure.
She is the secretary of Slovenian Society for Reproductive Medicine and member of European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology and Slovenian Society for Gynecological Oncology, Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.

Dr. Ozlem Dural finished her residency in 2010 and her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship in 2016 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, accredited by The European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG) since 2009.
Then, she completed her clinical fellowship in pediatric and adolescent gynecology in 2017 at the University of Ottawa, accredited by The North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG).
She also completed The Healthcare Education Scholars Program of the University of Ottawa in 2017.
Dr. Ozlem Dural is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Consultant Gynecologist for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology at the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.
Her main areas of interest are reproductive endocrinology, müllerian anomalies, childhood gynecological malignancies and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She contributed to more than 40 scientific papers on these topics. 

Aleksandra Trninic Pjevic currently works at Ferona Fertility clinic. She worked for over twenty years at the Clinical center of Vojvodina and University of Novi Sad as Full professor and Fertility specialist.  She is now Professor at the European Center for peace and development. She was the President of Ethics committee for 10 years. Conducted international Erasmus plus project for the development of Curricula in the fields of Reproductive Biology and Assisted Reproductive Technologies. She had international education in the fields of Assisted Reproduction and Endoscopic surgery and introduced transvaginal laparoscopy in Serbia. Participated and organized numerous educational courses in the country. Now is the member of National Advisory Board for Assisted reproduction technologies.

Prof. dr Milica Pejović Milovancevic, child psychiatrist

Prof. dr Pejovic Milovancevic is a child psychiatrist from Belgrade, employed at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, as a professor at the Department of Psychiatry, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate studies. He is the organizer of the optional classes for the basic studies Child Abuse and Neglect since 2012, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders since 2017. Within the Institute for Mental Health, he performs the function of Acting Officer. In the period from 2010-2018, she was the president of the Special Working Group of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia for the implementation of the Special Protocol of the Health Care System for the Protection of Children from Abuse and Neglect. In the period from 2017, he continues to manage the Special Working Group for Help and Support to Children and Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Special Working Group for Support and Monitoring of the Implementation of the National Program for the Improvement of Early Childhood Development of the Republic of Serbia Ministry of Health. As part of that activity, she managed the development of Guidelines for screening, diagnosis and therapy of children with autism spectrum disorders. He is currently the president of the Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Related Professions of Serbia (DEAPS). According to SCOPUS, her works were cited 10,291 times, total h index 21. She cooperates with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as well as UNICEF, the Center for Children's Rights of Serbia and others.

Dr. med Elisabetta Ferrucci, MD, PhD

Dr.Elisabetta Ferrucci is a Paediatrician and a Paediatric Surgeon.Shegraduated in 1996 at the University of Siena (Italy), where she specialized in General Paediatric Surgery in 2001; she worked at the Department of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery until 2008 when she moved to Switzerland to the Paediatric Department in Lugano General Hospital. She specialized in Paediatrics in Switzerland (FMH) in 2011.

Following her interest in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology(PAG) Dr. Ferrucciachieved the “Fellowship IFEPAG part I and II” during the EURAPAG Congress in London, in 2014.She established a PAG Service in Lugano Hospital for the Paediatric Institute of the Italian Switzerland.

In 2016,Dr. Ferrucci got the Master Degree in “Diagnosis of Child Abuse and Neglect”, at the University of Milano (Italy), andin 2017-2018 she attended the “Global Paediatric Leadership Program” at Harvard Medical School (USA), becoming an Associate Member of the Harvard University Alumni Association. Furthermore, she is a member of SIGEA (Italian Society of PAG) and of GYNEA (Swiss Society of PAG).

She speaks Italian, English and Spanishfluently, and French at an upper-intermediate level.

I enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla, Bosnia and Hercegovina After completing my internship, I was employed at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2003 and start my specialization in gynecology and obstetrics in August 2006. I passed the specialist exam in 2010 and acquired the title of specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. In 2013., after passing the exam at the University of Oslo, I started writing my second doctoral dissertation, and I won a scholarship from the prestigious Letten Foundation in Oslo, Norway. PHD dissertation entitled “Preterm birth in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Studies identifying progesterone-induced blocking factor (PIBF) as a marker. ” I successfully defended 2017. at the Medical Faculty of the University of Oslo. In 2016, I started a subspecialization in human reproduction at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Medical Center Ljubljana, Slovenia. I passed the subspecialist exam in human reproduction on September, 2018. In 2020, I was elected to assistant professor at the Faculty of medicine University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Hercegovina. As an author or co-author, I have published more than 50 scientific papers. I spent three months in education in the USA (Cincinnati children’s Hospital).

Nichole Tyson, M.D., is Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University School of Medicine.  She is the division chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologist (PAG) at the Lucile Packard Stanford Children’s Hospital where she proudly brags they have the first WEST coast PAG fellowship.  Dr. Tyson is an associate member of the FIGO’s contraception committee where she created the FIGO international adolescent contraceptive podcast series. She has been active on numerous ACOG committees, including the Adolescent Committee, Contraceptive Equity Expert work group and District IX Wellness committee.  She is the Vice President of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, the Past Chair of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy PAG special interest group and a member of PAG special interest groups for both Society of Family Planning and Association of Reproductive Medicine. She is on the editorial board for and created and co-hosted the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology podcast.  She is a passionate teacher, mentor and coach serving as Stanford Ob/Gyn resident assistant program director and gynecology medical student clerkship director. She loves living in the San Francisco area where there is so much wonderful hiking, delicious restaurants, and an international airport!

Prof. Anna Torres was born on the 7^th of October 1976 in Lublin, Poland. In 2012 she was appointed an associated professor and in 2019 obtained the title of the full professor in obstetrics and gynecology.

Prof. Anna Torres became a specialist in PAGin 2016 after completion of the International Fellowship of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

In 2018 she completed the Master’s Program in Clinical Education at the University of Edinburgh and obtained the MSc title in Clinical Education. Prof. Anna Torres has been dedicated to teaching students and residents since 2002. She developed and introduced for the first time in Poland, the high-fidelity simulation teachingof PAG examinationbased on an innovative hybrid model. In 2019, she established an IFEPAG training center in University Children’s Hospital of Lublin. Since 2019 she has served as a FIGIJ Board Member, and in 2022 she was appointed a senior academic member of the Academic Commission of EURAPAG Academy.

Prof. Anna Torres is also a co-funder and director of the Medical University of Lublin Centre for the Protection of Reproductive Health in Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Patients undergoing gonadotoxic treatment, which was established in 2022.

Rade Vukovic MD, PhD

Rade Vukovic works as attending physician at the Department of Paediatric Endocrinology of Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia, and as assistant lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He is a member of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE), actively involved as ESPE Communication Committee member, Secretary of the ESPE Working Group on Disorders/Differences of Sex Development and one of the ESPE YES Group leaders. He is also an Advisory Council member of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD). His main areas of interest are differences of sex maturation and development, neuroendocrinology and pediatric diabetes. He also loves video games and all sorts of electronic gadgets, including insulin pumps and CGM sensors.

Žana Bumbulienė

Žana Bumbulienė was born on June 10^th in Vilnius (Lithuania).
Married and mother of 3 children.

She graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine and completed internship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Vilnius (Lithuania). In 2002 she defended her Ph.D. thesis in Warsaw Medical University in Poland.

IFA Fellow after the IFEPAG examination in 2007. At present she works as Professor in Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine and as a consultant in tertiary care centre – Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos focusing mainly on PAG and gynaecological endocrinology. From 2002 till 2021 she was the head of Section of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology in Lithuania.

Žana Bumbulienė has actively participated in numerous congresses, published peer reviewed articles in PAG field and is a co-author of the books and manuals. She has been tutoring and giving training courses for both students and practitioners on PAG issues. She is Editorial Board Member of scientific journals Wiadomości Lekarskie, Paediatric and adolescent Reproductive Health, Lithuanian obstetrics and gynecology, and an editor-in-chief of journal Topical issues of gynaecology.

Since 2008 she has been a board member of EURAPAG, and a President of EURAPAG since 2021.

President of Lithuanian Society of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists since 2022.

She has been awarded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Health and Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė for her work in the field of children and adolescent gynaecology.

For Dr Susan Diane Akinyi Adongo, the road to obstetrics-gynaecology began with a fascination with women's health and developed through intellectual stimulation, clinical satisfaction, and personal exploration. Prior to medical school, Dr Susan found any and every opportunity to volunteer and work in women's health. These experiences led her to medical school, and throughout her classroom years she developed a keen sense that she wanted to further her passion through a career in obstetrics-gynaecology.

Dr Susan is now a Consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist currently working at the Kenyatta National Hospital, East and Central Africa’s largest referral hospital, while serving as an associate lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s School of Medicine in Kenya.

Aside from Obs-Gyn, Dr Susan is dedicated to literature and medical education, and publishes captivating medical-interest stories on her blog – Medroomeyes.com. She values service, growth, consistency and autonomy as her core principles.

Judith JML Dekker is working as a gynaecologist since 2001 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Amsterdam UMC. In 2003 she became a certified subspecialist Reproductive Medicine. The focus of her clinical work is on several fields: Reproductive Endocrinology, Cloacal and Mullerian duct anomalies, Endometriosis, Reproductive surgery (including endometriosis surgery) and Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She is a member of ESHRE, and the Royal Dutch College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Since 2021 she is the President of the DutchPAG.

For many years she has a particular interest in endometriosis, especially in adolescents and young adulthood. Increasing the knowledge of the pathogenesis, symptomatology and treatment possibilities of the disease in health care professionals as well as the youngster themselves is of crucial importance.  She believes that early recognition of the disease is very important to improve the quality of life of adolescents with endometriosis.

Dr. Justyna Łuczak - specialist in pediatric surgery, graduated from the Wroclaw Medical University, since 2013 she has been working at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Urology in Wrocław, Poland. She completed numerous scientific internships, including at the Clinic of Oncological and Reconstructive Surgery and at the Charité Children's Surgery Clinic in Berlin. She is particularly interested in the subject of adnexal pathologies in children. They were the subject of her doctoral dissertation. She is the author of numerous publications, co-author of the Recommendations of procedures to follow in the case of ovarian lesions in girls of the Polish Society of Pediatric Surgeons.

Lina Michala

I am an assistant professor of O&G at the University of Athens. I am also the lead in PAG since 2010at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Alexandra Hospital, a busy tertiary referral centre for Athens andsouthern Greece.

Prior to this, I trained in general O&G in the UK and completed a clinical fellowship in PAG at University London Hospitals, where I also worked as a locum consultant in PAG. 

I have more than 15 years’ experience in my field, with clinical and research interests in PrematureOvarianInsufficiency, FunctionalHypothalamicAmenorrhoea, Differences of Sex Development (DSD), late cancer effects in adolescents and young women, and child sexual assault. 80% of my clinical workload is in PAG, including operating for congenital uterovaginal anomalies and feminising surgery in adolescence.

I have published extensively in my discipline, and I am committed in teaching and higher education.

I hold a PhD in Reproductive Medicine form the University of Athens and I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Biography for Megan Harrison, MD, FRCPC:
Dr. Megan Harrison received her medical degree from McMaster University and completed her Pediatric residency training at Toronto’s Sick Kids Hospital in Canada. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and an Adolescent Medicine Physician at CHEO in Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Harrison’s clinical expertise and research focus on adolescent mothers and their children, pediatric eating disorders, marginalized and high-risk youth, and adolescent sexual health. She leads many advocacy initiatives in the area of period poverty, as well as adolescent reproductive and sexual health rights at the local, national and international levels. She practices a strength-based, youth focused approach and thrives in collaborating with other health advocates on interdisciplinary, qualitative, arts-based research with the aim of highlighting youth voice. She is actively involved in the Canadian Pediatric Society as Past-President of the Adolescent Health Section and is also the Co-Chair of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG) Advocacy Committee.

Olivera Kontic-Vucinic MD, PhD, is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and Head of Department Human reproduction and Perinatal and Reproductive Genetics at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, University Clinical Centre of Serbia. 

Dr Kontic-Vucinic received her M.D. in 1989. and her PhD in 1999. from the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She has been working at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, University Clinical Centre of Serbia, since 1991. Her academic career at the School of Medicine University of Belgrade started in 1999, and currently, she serves as Full Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics for undergraduate and postgraduate studies; she is also Chair of Ob/Gyn Cathedra for Studies in English. During her continuous professional and scientific education, she spent a one-year fellowship as visiting professor on postdoc studies in fetal-maternal medicine at the School of Medicine, Yale University, New Haven, USA. 

Professor Kontic-Vucinic has authored or co-authored over 200 scientific publications and abstracts: peer-reviewed papers in domestic and international medical journals, chapters in obstetrical textbooks and international monographs on high-risk pregnancy. 

She is a regular invited speaker at important domestic and international perinatal conferences. Her service to professional organizations included previous work as the President of the South East European Society for Perinatal Medicine. Currently, she is President of the Gynecological and Obstetrical Section of the Serbian Medical Society.

Savic Djordje was born on July 9, 1960 in Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his basic studies at the Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade, in 1985. He defended his master's thesis in 1992 and his PhD thesis in 2009 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He finished his specialization in pediatric surgery in 1993. He has been working at the Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia "DrVukanČupić", Belgrade, since the beginning of his careerin 1987, at the Department of Abdominal Surgery.Since 2000 he has been the Head of the Departmentof Abdominal Surgery. He is also employed at the Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade, at the Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology and has a title of professor of surgery. In his many years of clinical work, he deals with the surgical treatment of children in all aspects of children's abdominal surgery, including children's gynecological surgery. In recent years, he has put a special focus on pediatric oncology surgery, operating on children with all types of malignant abdominal tumors. He is the author of numerous publications, as well as chapters in books and textbooks.

Associate Prof Dr. Ani Amelia Dato’ Zainuddin is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Hospital Chancellor Tunku Mukhriz Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HCTM UKM), specializing in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG). She is the Head of the PAG Unit in HCTM UKM. She and her colleague, Prof. Nur Azurah Abdul Ghani, established the first PAG unit in Malaysia since 2008. She obtained her PhD in “The outcomes of female patients with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia” in 2014 and has conducted research in PAG, published and presented in national and international congresses. Her special interest is in managing patients with Disorders / Differences of Sex Development (DSD) such as MRKH syndrome, XY females, patients with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) and patients with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI). She has published several papers on the Islamic perspectives in managing gender issues in patients with DSD and obtained a grant to prepare guidelines. The PAG Unit in HCTM UKM has been accredited as an international training center for PAG by FIGIJ since 2019. Assoc. Prof Ani Amelia Zainuddin is also the Vice President of the Asia Oceanic Society of PAG (AOSPAG) which has members from the Asia Oceanic region.

She is also gynaecologist at the Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Ghent, Belgium.

Nele Coryn graduated the IFEPAG part I + II in 2022. Since 2021, she is elected as the President of the Flemish PAG society. She is part of the disorders of Sexual Development multidisciplinary team.

ANASTASIA VATOPOULOU MD , PhD, IFEPAG

Anastasia Vatopoulou is ast professor at the Gynecology Dept of University of Ioannina, Greece , responsible for the PAG services in a busy teaching hospital and has a successful Obs & Gyn private practice . Her training in PAG started in Athens ,she was granted the IFEPAG fellowship in Hong Kong and continued in London (UCLH) . She is working actively for the last 15 years to establish a comprehensive gynecological care for female children and adolescents in Northern Greece .

She is academically active in research and teaching and wrote a PhD thesis on the effects of the HPV vaccine on the sexual behavior of adolescent and young women. Her primary interests are contraception, HPV , STDs and congenital anomalies.

Anastasia is a Secretary General of the Hellenic Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Association - Hellenicpag - and of the European Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynecology - Eurapag -. She has organized Greek congresses on PAG and has participated in several congresses, meetings and workshops with lectures, oral presentations and as a member of panels on this subject in Greece and Europe. She is an International representative of The NASPAG . She has several publications ,chapters in books and is a reviewer of journals in the field.

Dr Bashir is a Public Health and development Practitioner with a background in Obstetrics/Gynaecology. Dr Bashir is  a family planning champion from Kenya with an experience of 23 years in health systems.He is currently the director for Family Health in charge of RMNCAH and has lead the development of the current  Kenya’s Reproductive health Policy, Adolescent and young person’s SRH policy and ongoing FP policy. He has successfully secured the MOU on Family planning commodity security between the major donors (USAID, FCDO, UN and BMGF) and the government Kenya for a 100% domestic funding.for FP commodities.

He was the immediate former program Coordinator for UNFPA Kenya, leading a joint program with UN H6 Partners in ending preventable Maternal and Child deaths in the 15 counties with the highest burden of maternal mortality in Kenya. Dr Bashir also served as the Team Leader for DIFPARK, a family Planning project funded by DFID covering 24 Counties of Kenya and implemented by Futures GRM Group (Palladium) prior to which he was the Head of Reproductive and Maternal and newborn health.

Dr Bashir has attained his MD from Hacettepe University in Turkey, Masters of Medicine ( Obstetrics and Gynaecology ) from University of Nairobi, Kenya and his fellowship in leadership in Maternal and RH from Tulane University School of public health and tropical Medicine Louisiana, USA. Martha López Sanclemente MD received her medical degree in 2007 from CES University in Medellín, Colombia. After several years of practice as a general doctor, she moved to Europe where in 2014 she completed her specialization studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Torrecárdenas Hospital in Almería Spain. Afterwards, she continued her healthcare activity in Valencia, Spain and completed a master’s degree in Advanced Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery from the Valencian Institute of Fertility IVI and the University of Valencia. She is currently working at Diatros Clinic in Barcelona, Spain and is in charge of the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Unit since 2019. In addition to taking care of women's health in all stages of life, she is responsible for advising and treating many of the issues faced by adolescent and younger age females. Mick van Trotsenburg is both a Dutch and Austrian citizen, currently living in Vienna. He studied theatre science before he turned towards medicine. After completing his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology he has been focussing on transgender medicine, clinically, scientifically as well as didactically. In 2005 he became head of the Genderclinic of the Free University Amsterdam, one of the world largest and most innovative centers on transgender healthcare. 2018  he returned back to Austria heading genderPRO Vienna, an international  consultancy, giving advice to health authorities worldwide how to improve health of genderexpansive  people and implement transgender healthcare. He is an active member of WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, and co-authored the currently released global Standards-of-Care. Moreover he is the editor of the textbook on Transgynecology, a comprehensive and authorative resource for all gynaecological aspects relevant for transgender and genderdiverse people, including fertility issues. 

Beatrice KHATER is currently an Assistant Professor in the Family Medicine Department at the American University of Beirut (AUB) Lebanon with an expertise in Adolescent Health, particularly in Eating Disorders and LGBTQ+.

When teenage girls encounter their first gynecological counselling, they face some of their strangest fears of life. My great passion is bringing relaxation to these moments and finding the common words with the generation „Alpha”. It’s quite a challenge, especially in the era of Tik-Tok and Instagram. Graduated from the Medical University in Debrecen, Hungary and spent a year-long clinical fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City as part of my specialist training, I’ve worked more than 20 years at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Debrecen, being deputy director between 2013-2019. Currently I work in private settings. I’m the secretary general of PAG Hungary and was the past president of the society between 2017-2021.

Georgios Konstantinidis was born in Novi Sad on 22nd April 1961.

He entered University, Medical Faculty in Novi Sad in 1979 and graduated on 4th March 1985, after 5.5 years of studying with an average grade 9,15.

Since August 1986 he has been employed at the Institute for Child and Youth Heath Care in Novi Sad, at Clinic for Pediatrics. He started his University carrier at the same time, as Assistant in teaching in the field of adolescent medicine.

Doctor Konstantinidis has finished his Master Science studies in 1989, and completed his MSci Thesis “Acute Poisoning in Children in the region of Vojvodina” at the age of 30.

Since 1991, he has been working as pediatrician at the Intensive Care Unit of Clinic for Pediatrics, where he has treated children of various age, from the newborn infants to adolescents.

Doctor Georgios Konstantinidis has been author or coauthor in 130 publications in country and abroad.

On December 1995, Doctor Konstantinidis has been elected for the position of General Secretary of The Section for Perinatal Medicine of The Serbian Medical Society. In 1998, after an official invitation, he stayed at the University Clinic “Agia Sofia” in Athens, Greece.

In February 1998, he has been elected for the position of Teaching Assistant at Chair of pediatrics at Medical Faculty in Novi Sad.

In 1998, his presentation at the II Congress of Pediatricians of Yugoslavia named “Magnetic Resonance in Neonatology - Reality and Necessity” was rewarded as best presentation.

His PhD Thesis “The Use of Phenobarbital and Etamsylat in Prevention and Treatment of Intracranial Haemorrhage in Newborn Infant” was presented in public on 10th November 1999.

In October 2001, he was rewarded by the Government of Republic of Serbia, for scientific achievements.

In August 2002, Doctor Konstantinidis was nominated for Director of Institute for Child and Youth Health Care. Since November 2004. untill November 2010 he was a President of The Section for Perinatal Medicine of The Serbian Medical Society.

On the position of Full Professor he is since 2013. at the same University (Novi Sad)

He is member of group that founded Serbian School of Perinatal Medicine, and he is lecturer in this school and in Serbian School of Pediatrics.

He became Chairman of the managing board of the Chamber of Healthcare Institutions of Serbia in april 2010.

Since 2016. he is President of the Neonatal Section of Serbia.

On september 2018. He is elected for the president of the Pediatric Association of Serbia.

Theses ‘Management of Adolescent Girls with Congenital Malformations of the Uterus and Vagina’ was carried out in Moscow 1988-1992 (supervisor, Professor Elena Bogdanova). For 20 years until the end of 2016, she was the Chief PAG specialist in country and a leading specialist of the FP/RH WHO/UNFPA/IPPF projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. Currently Gulya Alimbaeva is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Postgraduate Continuing Education of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University. Author of 3 books. 3 Patents and educational literature.

Dr Jane MacDougall (MD FRCOG MEd) is a Consultant Gynaecologist & Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust (CUHFT) with a special interest in paediatric & adolescent gynaecology. She was a founder member of the British Society of Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (2000) and its Chair from 2002-2007. She has published in the area and continues to lead the paediatric and adolescent Differences in Sexual Differentiation (DSD) service in Cambridge. We have recently been recognised as the first UK centre for IFEPAG training.  
In addition she has an interest in Postgraduate Education and has held a number of leadership roles in education including College Tutor and Director of Postgraduate Medical Education for CUH. From 2003-8 she was Clinical Director for Women’s Services in Cambridge. She was Head of School for the new East of England (EOE) Postgraduate School of Obstetrics & Gynaecology  (2008-2017). She has established training courses for trainers locally, for the region and for the RCOG and was faculty development lead at the RCOG and is currently on their Subspecialist training committee. She completed a research based Masters in Education in 2003 and has also published in educational journals. She is currently Guardian of Safe Working for CUHFT (2017-) & Associate Postgraduate Dean for Health Education England (HEE-EOE).

Complete androgen insensitivity syndrome in girl with primary amenorrhea

A 16-year-old girl was born at term. Amniocentesis and prenatal diagnosis were previously carried out and a normal male karyotype, 46,XY was obtained. Physical exam revealed a phenotypic female with primary amenorrhea, Tanner stage III breast development, Tanner stage II pubic hair and no clitoral enlargement or other evidence of virilization. External genitalia were infantile and vagina was 4 cm length. Her serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level was 6,3 IU/L, luteinizing hormone (LH) level was 13,6 IU/L and total testosterone level was 31,3 nmol/L. Repeated karyotype: 46, XY and positive SRY gene. Laparoscopic surgery revealed bilateral gonads and absence of uterus and fallopian tubes. Bilateral gonads were excised and histopathological examination revealed presence of testicular tissue showing seminiferous tubules with rare Leydig cells and nodules of seminiferous tubules with hyperplasia of Leydig cells. Seminiferous tubules are lined with Sertoli cells, without the presence of germ cells.

After all, data from the family history speak in support of complete androgen insensitivity syndrome, as an X-linked recessive disorder of sexual development. Namely, one older sister had a gonadectomy at the age of 18 and has been using hormone replacement therapy ever since.  Her mother's sister had gonadectomy at a young age also.

Aleksandra Stojadinovic, MD, Ph.D. is a Paediatrician at the Institute of Health Care of Children and Adolescents of Vojvodina and an associate professor of pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad. Her main topics of interest are adolescent medicine and developmental pediatrics. From 2013 to 2022, she was a member of the organization committee of the Paediatric School of Serbia. She participated in preparing the "National Program for Health Care of Women, Children, and Youth," which was adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in 2009 as the coordinator of the working group for adolescent health care. She is a member of a working group of the Republic of Serbia for the improvement of children's early development organized by the Ministry of Health. She is a member of the Committee for preventing drug use among youth of the City of Novi Sad.
